Flu jab time

The nurse came out a couple of days ago and stuck a needle into me, administering this years flu jab. Over and done in seconds it really is as easy as that, so if any of you out there are wondering about having your one just do it.

It could stop you getting flu here is a link to help any one having doubts

As I said just do it. No don’t think about it JUST DO IT

Purple leg bag syndrome Catheter Multiple Sclerosis

I am still waiting for test results from the GP surgery on a urine sample but my urine bag has been different shades of purple for three weeks. I have been feeling awful and had several spells in bed last week including on my birthday 🙁. The urine stinks it changes the inside of the leg bag to purple but no one will confirm it is an infection. As the nurse said when she collected the sample “if it looks like an infection it smells like an infection then you can bet it is an infection “  I expect to get the results back and it to be clear.

The urine sample results will never come back due to an error sending them 🤯 But after fifty minutes on hold to surgery the resulting conversation resulted in a GP prescribed antibiotics. So now hopefully we can get on the road to recovery 👍. My urine bag is very purple and very cruddy lots of sediment.  Two days of antibiotics and changed leg bag lo and behold no purple! Strange how I take antibiotics and it goes but the gp think no infection.

Goldfinches on the garden feeder.

Bird feeders busy

The birds love the new feeders. At one  stage I had over a dozen Goldfinches on the feeders outside the window and a similar number on the feeders at the bottom of the garden. We also have seen Blue Tits Sparrows Robins Magpies and Ring Neck Parakeet plus Pigeons of course. Seems the new feeders are popular. As I type this there is a queue forming but the parakeets are now dominating the smaller birds.

Another Kirsty post on mental health

This post is just to great not to get a mention’Top 4tips for Self Care‘ you can find it here :- https://www.kirstykellyphotography.com/post/top-4-tips-for-self-care

I have written about my own depression many times before I was so depressed once I deleted all of my years of posts on several blogs I used to write. Well five blogs can be counted as several can’t it? Depression or the Black Dog as Winston Churchill used to refer to it is more out in the open now but it still takes guts to admit you are suffering and seek help.

Photo from google images

Kirsty has written several posts about mental health and I have enjoyed reading them on her blog https://www.kirstykellyphotography.com/blog
Her main income comes from her photography but her blog has adverts on it so if you see adverts on independent traders like her click on them to aid their income rather than going to google. I am sure indies can do with extra money.

Kirsty on Anxiety attacks

I follow  @KirstyPhoto on Twitter and I also read her blog. Her latest post is how she copes with her anxiety attacks. Now I suffer from mental health problems and I still maintain the best two tablets I take each day are my antidepressants. Have a look at Kirsties posts on her blog KIRSTY BLOGD
